2016 AGM NOTICE & AGENDA
Notice is given that the 2016 Annual General Meeting of the Scrabble Association will commence at 7 p.m. at HDB Nexus on 11th March 2016. Any changes to the schedule will be emailed to members and also posted to the Events page of Toucanet.
Matters Arising
To consider and adopt the minutes of the 2015 Annual General Meeting.
These were circulated in the 2015 1Q issue of this newsletter.
To approve the Audited Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015.
As this newsletter is scheduled to go to print before the accounts are finalized, the audited accounts will be circulated via email before the AGM and included in the next issue for the record.
To elect the officers and committee to serve until the conclusion of the 2018 AGM.
Please advise the President (presidenttoucanet.com) if you wish to serve in any capacity. Again, owing to the timing of this issue, the candidates for the 2016-18 committee will be circulated by email before the AGM.
To elect two new Honorary Auditors for the year to 31 December 2016.
Many thanks to Winston Gwee and M Ganapathy for serving as Honorary Auditors for 2015; it is required to elect new Auditors every year. This duty requires about an hour of the Auditors' time once a year.
