2017 AGM NOTICE & AGENDA

Notice is given that the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Scrabble Association will commence at 7:00 p.m. at HDB Nexus on 24th March 2017. Any changes to the schedule will be emailed to members and also posted to the Events page of Toucanet.

Matters Arising
To consider and adopt the minutes of the 2016 Annual General Meeting. These were circulated in the 2016 1Q issue of this newsletter.
To approve the Audited Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2016. As this newsletter is scheduled to go to print before the accounts are finalized, the audited accounts will be circulated via email before the AGM and included in the next issue for the record.
To confirm the appointment of Elijah Kumar Nathanael to the committee. The committee thanks K Dorai Raja, who has stepped down from the committee, for his contributions particularly in the area of tournament organisation.
To elect two new Honorary Auditors for the year to 31 December 2017. Many thanks to Catherine Tong and Lee Guan Hui for serving as Honorary Auditors for 2016.
