WORLD YOUTH SCRABBLE CHAMPIONSHIP 2010
4 Singaporean youths qualified to represent Singapore in the coming WYSC at Manila on 8 Dec 2010. However only 3 of them will attend; Eden Choo has decided not to go. Best wishes to the Singapore team!

WYSC 2010 QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
The 5th World Youth Scrabble Championship (WYSC) will tentatively be held on 8th to 10th December 2010 in Manila, Philippines. It is estimated that Singapore will receive places for eight participants.
Eligibility Criteria
A person will be eligible for consideration to represent Singapore in WYSC 2010 only if he/she:
Selection Criteria
The estimated eight spots will be given to eight highest-ranked players at the end of the WYSC qualifying period based on SA ratings who fulfil all the eligibility criteria above.
Reserves will also be selected, as possible replacements for any of the Singapore representatives in the event that any of the representatives are not able to play in the WYSC. Reserves will be the next-highest-rated player(s) who are eligible as determined by the same eligibility criteria above.
If any of the WYSC spots is vacant because the player declines or becomes ineligible, the spot will be offered to the reserves in rating order. In the event of a dispute during the selection process, SA Committee will be the arbiter, and their decision is final.
